hey just figured i would share my good news with yall. This past weekend went to fun ford down in atlanta to compete in the true street class and quick ford. my brother and i have two mustangs that we compete with. i ran three bak2bak passes in 87 notchback with a 9.44 avg @ 148mph. good enough for 4th overall. and placed 2nd in elite 8. which is the 8 fastest street cars there. fastest time was 9.32 @146.7mph. The second car bro drove its 05 roush he ran 3 passes at 12.20's. He took third in his class. I pretty pumped about it, we have been for a couple years and never placeed in the money!!!! Things are looking a lot better!!! I was able to run the alti on fri night i wasnt supposed to (fords only) but nabbed a time of 14.34 @ 96 with bald tires!!!! Neways i figured i would let yall know bout the good news!

congrats man.. thats scary how close the new altis are to my ex Z28's times... "I go to run my car at bristol once and best I got out of it was a 14.01 at 108MPH, I had just swapped it over to a 6spd and wasnt in-tune with it yet, best 1/8th mile pass (local track) I ever got out of her was an 8.3 at 89mph .. that was once I got use to her with some nice prep and heating the tires up just right.. thats the same night I outran a new vette and decided I accopmlished my goal. 2 months later sold the car and started work on the silverado... now im back in a sports car lol too bad its a 2.5.. but it does keep me outta trouble!
