I'm doing a TT swap on my 2+2 NA and was wondering if I can use a NA clutch kit (z1 or southbend) and NA trans with the TT motor? I know I need a starter shim for the starter to actually engage the tt fly wheel. Also I plan on pushing 350-380hp.

IIRC you will need to grind out the inside of the bell housing some to fit the TT flywheel and IIRC the NA clutch wont fit the TT FW because it is slightly larger in diameter.

That's what I figured. Thanks hot the info. Also what clutch do you recommend? I know z1motorsports has a special on their TT clutch kit right now for $248 and I was considering jumping on it.

Southbend and Specialty Z are my faves, not knocking the Z1 kit just don't have any experience with it.

Ive been looking at those too. Im tempted to go with z1 since they currently have a special on their tt clutch kit for for $248 http://www.z1motorsports.com/product_in ... ts_id=7158
And like I said I dont plan on pushing more than 400hp.
