hey guys im new to this site but not to the Z32 ... i have a 90 2+2 with 198,000
i just finished dropping in a jdm tt motor and trans ... and for the record... i pulled both the motor and trans through the top with everything attached P/S, alternator, and A/C... with the tt being dropped in the only things i took off were the started which i let hang by the wiring harness and the A/c... im not runnign A/C so i dont need the compressor. while the engien was out i replaces all the injectors, fuel lines, plenum gasket, EGR delete,AIV delete and i also got rid of the carbon canister. pulling the NA motor only took about 2 hours tops with BSing for 30 min lol.... dropping in the TT took about the same.

now heres my problem.... before i dropped in the tt i replaced the wiring harness and had to splice in a couple connectors (CAS and cam shaft position sensor on the passangers) because those were corroded and cracked. eberything loks like it should... i do how ever have 3 unplugges wires... im guessing 2 of these are for OEM boost sensors if im not correct...they are on the plenum to engine block mount brackets? and theres another plug along the driver side by the fuse box. a gray plug and red plug, but i also have an extra with nno idea where it goes to..

after i bolted everuythign up, i connected the battery but its as if there is no battery, theres power to NOTHING,,, if anyone has had this problem doing the swap or even not,, im just lokoin for someone to point me in the right direction to look for problems... so im lokoin for why the Z has no power, an dcould this extra plug cause the car to be dead... id appericiate any help at all thanks guys..

There is a second wire that goes to the fusible link box and hooks onto the battery positive terminal. Have you connected that? Check the output of the fusible link box and the wire. Make sure that is on the positive terminal.

yea thanks i completely forgot about that ,,, there was a fuse in that box that was blown but also havin a battery that was tested at -.2 amp could have been the problem also lol.... i changed the battery and the one fuse and it turned right over. after i started it though a s*** load of what seemed to be old sludgy oil came pouring out and i know its not the oil i put it.... my question is does the oil filter see any oil pressure? enough so that if the oil filter was tweaked a lillte and does not make a good seal would the oil be pouring/spraying out (at least 2 quarts drained out wit hthe motor idling for 15 - 20 seconds)

Absolutely, the oil filter sees pressure. It is before the main bearings. so, when oil comes pouring out of it, then you are also starving the bearings. Never let it idle with a large leak.

thanks i no it soudns like a stupid question but when it happened i started the car n i didnt have another set of eyes underneath to see exactly where it came from... all i saw was a huge puddle of oil and i was just assuming it came from there.. thanks a lot though
