This may be an overused topic don't know don't care. Does an TT starter fit on an NA? My Z I converted it its NATT. 5.5lbs PSI. But I stayed running my NA starter. Well its gone bad and I need a new starter. My buddy has a TT starter but he lives about an hour away. I don't wanna waste my time to go pick it up if it doesn't work.

Marty, not meaning to question you, as you usually know more than me 9 times out of 10, but I thought the TT starter was slightly different to account for the minuscule difference in size between the N/A and TT flywheel.

Ive got a NA starter on my TT bellhousing and haven't had any problems at all, I'm pretty sure they're interchangeable.

Duly noted. I thought you had to modify it in some way. Shows what I know :gapteeth:

The transmission housing is different between the TT and NA. The NA housing is thicker inside, so to convert to TT, it needs ground. Then a shim is needed to move the starter out to mate to the TT flywheel. So the NA starter can be used on the TT conversion. The same starter can be directly bolted to the TT transmission since it's casting is different.
