tt/na transmission question(tt swap)

I wanted to know if the na will work with a tt motor and ive heard of having to "shim" the starter but I dont know exactly what people mean by that. any threads you can show or advice/write ups would be good.

youll have to grind out the inside of the bell housing to allow the TT flywheel to fit

so i should probably try and get a tt trans?
how much do I have to grind and what tool do you suggest.

what do people usually use to grind it down and how much of a difference is it between flywheels?

1mm. Not exactly, but it's a really small amount.
