Hey guys, first time posting here and i need help, I was wondering if anyone here has a write up on how to remove the exhaust valve covers on a TT. I can do the intake covers no problem. I just don't know how to remove the brackets that hold down the plenum to the heads. There's no room. I am stuck at this point, if you guys can help me out i'd highly appreciate it, thanks.

Here's a link on how to do a plenum pull on a TT. Pretty sure you have to remove some of the intake piping to get to the side brackets holding the plenum on.

Once the plenum is off, just unbolt the exhaust valve covers and pry the cover off. intake covers have a rubber gasket, exhaust valve covers are glued on with grey RTV silicone.

Plenum's already off, just cant get this off on both sides (circled in green). There's a bolt behind it that holds the exhaust cover down.

Welcome to Nico. You can unbolt the bottom or just bend it out the way and bend it back when you are ready to put it back on. Personally, I removed the brackets all together.

To be clear, those brackets are used for the stock safety boost solenoids which many people delete. I think keeping the bracket itself is a good idea especially if you ever have to lift the engine. On mine we grinded off the extra pieces of that bracket that were for holding the solenoids.

but the solenoid should only be deleted if i go to a manual or electronic controller right?

You can delete it whenever. When your ECU detects knock or other conditions it uses them to put you in safety boost.
