TT block with no turbos

I'm curious about the practicality of running a TT block in a 1993 na 2+2, without installing the turbochargers, intercoolers, ect, and instead using all NA parts where possible. I am aware there will be a loss in power due to the change in compression, but I do plan on fully swapping over all TT parts in the future.

You may want to contact a tuner like SpecialtyZ to see if they have a base tune for this situation. That's the only real problem I'd see with it.
