Does anyone have pics of 18" TSW Thruxtons on a coupe? Checked the wheel thread but only 19's I can see.

Thanks

I have the 19s on Nova Scotia roads and they're fine here.. except when big huge bolts go through them lol. They're an awesome rim though. The 18s will look a tad smaller with a smaller lip depending on your offset you choose as well. I went 19 and +35 to get the huge lip I wanted.

Honestly, I prefer the 19s, they look better than 18s on the car, but for drive-ability and if there are a lot of potholes in Ottawa I would suggest the 18s. You'll get a bit more rubber, however, the Toyo Proxes 4s I have are metal re-enforced so they're pretty tough. I haven't had any issues with potholes around here.

The 18s will also be cheaper...

I like this wheel a lot.

But right now it's looking strange on the A/C

They are really open. Only 5 narrow spokes, so the stock brakes look pretty small in there

The amount by which the spokes initially protrude from the lip is really exaggerated with that offset...

Still looks good though

I like 18's.

These come in 18x9.5 +35

That would look legit.

*edit*

Also the 18x9.5 cost less than 19x8

Remember, better fitment is determined more by width and offset, not so much diameter.

Go 9.5. You wont regret it with the Thruxton

Thanks for the info guys.

QR25DE.... is that 4th pic pre or post drop? I know I'd love to drop... but Canadian winters and potholes FTL

The reson I'm asking is a guy in Ottawa is selling some, and I really like the look, but obviously have only seen the 19's on an AC.

I have an e-mail to the guy asking more info like width and offset.

It's either something like this or 350z anniversary rims if I can find em cheap-ish
