Yeah, that's what I was kinda figuring - that the wider rim would hit up against the interior wall of the wheel well. If you ran a low offset of like 20 or something, then you push the placement of the wheel out of the well solving the problem - but then you'd be rubbing on the other side, the fender side of the wheel well!
It's just a shame, becuz 9.5" wheels look so good, but just putting it on the back, it would seem to me, would contribute to understeer, and is really a setup more proper with RWD, since understeer is not a problem in that case. Dunno... the wide wheels setups are awesome, plus in some styles of wheels, you can only get that super deep dish or super concave look if you go wide. But, staggering in a FWD car, from what I can tell, is a downgrade in your steering performance unless the wider wheel went up front, which would look odd and apparently, rub too much.
Regardless, the thruxtons staggered on your coupe, paki, do look really nice!
