TSB: Fuel filler door release

OK guys, here's yet ANOTHER problem that can cause the fuel filler door not to open.

Those who have been around long enough know that the cable can slip off of the lever in the cabin, but what happens if the cable is attached but the door still won't open when the lever is pulled?

Well, I got my V back from the dealer from this very issue today, and they say there is a TSB regarding this. Apparently the cable for the release can move around and slack up, causing the door not to open properly. They have been instructed to zip-tie the cables in place so they won't move around, and it worked on my car.

Now, I didn't see any TSB regarding this at the ODI site, so this may not yet have filtered to sites outside of Nissan... but it exists and apparently is known.

Do thoes TSBs refer to one model year or all 3? (09's are on the lots)

I can only say 2007 for sure, since that's what mine is. Without access to the TSB online, I can't say for sure what all it affects. Possibly some '08's... doubt that it affects '09's.
