yeah the ones I took out were the ones from the black plastic, But when I look at the ligh head on, I dont see anymore screws...it is possible they have been removed previously? and not put back in? would the lights function properly with out those screws...in other words

OK, as I remember there were like two more screws that are kinda tucked up and under the head light, you are gonna need to screw the lights up manually and then, somehow, if you can get under and inside the front bumper and find them, all I really remember about those two screws is that they were *****es to remove, cut my hands up and everything, might just want to take off the front bumper...

after you take out the 3 screws on the headlight shroud (the black plastic piece) you have to pull it out and down a little to access the other 4 screws that hold the silver retainer in. After that, the headlight should just pull out. Took me about an hour to do mine, because that stupid plastic piece wouldn't get out of the way.

It should pop out easily with the right motion. I just installed sylvania h6's and i remember it takin a while to get the plastic shroud out. Try pushing it back then down then out and should come out rather easily. Good luck
