please don't get an aftermarket bumper by itself...

you need sideskirts and a rear bumper to accomodate (along with a WHOLE lot of other stuff to at least make it look decent instead of half arsed)

Is it a must to get a new bumper?

What is wrong with the one you have on there? I think it looks good.

have you considered a lip kit?

Maybe some valances in the back and something subtle on the sides?

Are you going to save enough money to have everything painted BEFORE you put it on?

Just Wondering ^^

I would go with a lip and put the rest of the money in the motor or better looking rims.

What is wrong with having a stock looking street car? I can understand if its your race car. My honest opinion is that body kits on DD's or street cars are just tacky and impracticable. Lower it and leave it.

yea your going to need new wheels first IMO. Nice wheels on a relatively stock car make it look a lot more aggressive than just slapping on a kit. Trust me man. Plus the kit with no wheels will look wack.

I don't see the point in having a kit on a car that already looks good. If you want a kit go for it though!

yes well while we're on the subject of stupid street car edicate. i believe slamming a street car is far more impractical then a body kit. Not to mention most of you slam a car on other stock parts and ruin the suspension geometry of the car.

so are you saying that a stock 240 with nice wheels is an emabarrassment compared to a front kit bumper only 240 with ****ty wheels???

Look at the kit he showed us, thats on a wide bodied slammed 180 with what appears could be advan rg wheels properly fitted and tucked. Thats what he wants, look at his car thats not what he will get. That msport car is done all the way around....not just a bumper with some random wheels.......

maybe i miss understood you? So you tell me what the embarrassment would be lol.

from pics of his car, it looks pretty clean and straight bodied. A better wheel fitment and a bit lower stance (from his stance coilovers) would look a lot better than what he is rolling on now with just a front bumper lol.

but wheels are tad more expensive than a bumper so its whatever. But that bumper would be half way to a nice set of wheels....that is if he gets a genuine built bumper not some crap knockoff.....which would further look worse.

something like this....obviously he doesn't have to go with this kind of wheel setup, but properly fit and on stock body looks damn good than just a front bumper car with sunken wheels.

A stock car with just an aftermarket front bumper would look stupid.

^ Sorry Brian I have to disagree with you there. That white chuki is sex. I've seen it in person and it is uber clean.

OP, please don't just get a bumper and nothing else. Get wheels FIRST. Trash those fwd offsets. Work on the wheels ride height/stance before any kind of aero.

That bumper will suck without a full kit...as a matter of fact I had the full kit with out wide fenders and proper rims and it still sucked.unless you are going to upgrade everything to get this look it isn't worth it ..I would go greedy lip, drop your car 2.5 inches and call it a day money well spent
