Just got my new wheels and tires (265/75/16 BFG all terrains) and they scrub alot. The guys at 4 wheel parts told me I was going to have to trim my front bumper/ wheel well. I don't really have a problem with this but before I went through with it I wanted to get some feedback from someone who has already done it.

Thanks

My ProComp Xtreme Crawlers (steel 16x8 w/3.75" backspace) were only about $85/each (4Wheel Parts). I didn't think that was totally out of whack, but I definitely was NOT looking for good looks - only the backspacing so I would stop ripping my front splash guard loose (will have to get some armor up front some day).

Cheers.
I was looking on that 4wheelparts site and i couodnt find wheel with a 3.75" backspace. i found wheels with a 4" backspace and a 2.25" backspace. u sure that was the site?

I went to my local 4 wheel parts to get it done. I talked to the guys at 4x4parts on the phone, and they said 4 inch backspacing was fine. I ordered 16" Procomp 98 wheels (with 4 in backspacing) and 265/75/16 tires. I am going to have to do some trimming or go back down a tire size.

The four wheels were $322 out the door. $75 a piece.

if you wanna ride a little higher, you should first get some good nugs. find a nice bowl that fits naturally in your hand, and with your knee holding the steering wheel, light up and take a big puff. keep the windows closed if you wanna hotbox it. that should do it!
