trying to put together a 240sx need help

i got a 91 240sx i got a cold air intake and 17s black chrome w/ the chrome lip , in it so far i want to paint it drop it and put a turbo , but i dont want to get some cheap parts i just wanna some real stuff on my car for a great price , can anyone help thanks

Stance GR+ Pros good coils for about 1k.SR20DET and build over time. Go to MAACO and pay for the highest paint job or take to a paint shop near you with reputable reviews.

lol and i just want the turbo for the soundi am not really a hp freak i love that BOV sound i rather not get a sr20 just because i think the KA has more potential .... but besides that i was thinking on getting the megan racing lower kit and i would ost pics but i just got this account and i dont know how lol and the reason i want to paint the car is because the gy i bought it from never washed it so looks like crap but he took care of the engine very well , but the macco paint job sounds good

Dude seriously you need to do WAY more research before you start posting like that or you are gonna get grilled. People are here to help you with serious problems not the bs you are asking. People on here are more impressed with people who do thier own work/research than people who try to ask other people for help.

From what i can tell you are a ricer. Put a boombox under your hood with a turbo and BOV playing contstantly and you will be good. A quality turbo setup is gonna cost you at least 1500 when an sr is only 2000. And you def dont know how to build a KA to handle boost so sr would be your best route.

And any quality color change paint job is gonna cost you at least 1500-2000 unless you know someone who will give you a great deal.

first of all i do work on my own cars i just never built a nissan 240 all i was getting was ideas to see what i could do just to see how other people have their setup there is alot of different ways to build a car and i know that dont worry about me if you dont like the post then dont post anything i am not here argue with anyone and btw my car has problems from the guy that had it before me like the clutch , suspension , and the alightment is crap but iam not gonna post on this cuz this stuff i can fix , for those that helped thanks alot

back on topic, yeah, if you're trying to turbo just for the "BOV" sound. Pic up a honda turbo swap with bov, and feel VTak kick in. kidding.

You say you've built up cars before, yet you state you've never worked on a nissan (understandable) and you're going to turbo the car for an aesthetic item (BOV) WTF broseph.

I suggest going into the sticky thread. Great articles for many problems and upgrades.
