Some background for ya. First off, to whoever ran there wire behind the glove box, that was a def no go in my ride. There is a white tube that comes out of the hole that was supposedly supposed to have just a cap on it. Don't know where that was going, but I figured best just to leave it.

I had to drill the hell out of the right side quarter panel just to run 4awg through it and into the cabin. PITA.

So now I've hooked up everything else using the Line Out Converter (have BOSE) and now I have a few questions.

1. Can I use the Bose amp remote wire to turn on my amp as well? 1a. What color is that wire

2. When I tried tapping into an "Audio" fuse in the fusebox under the trunk that read 0volts when the car was off and 12volts when car was on turned my amp partially on (has lit emblem). So I'm assuming that this isn't normal (wasn't lit on previous car)?

3. I accidently cut one of the wires on the Bose wiring harness, is there an easy way to get them back together (not much slack)?

1. yes, you can do that.. I have to check the FSM, ... ok, according to page AV-169 in the field service manual, the amp turn on wire is B/G in terminal position 60 on the larger connection harness on the Bose Amp

2. just extend the wire with another wire an reconnct on both ends.. you may have to solderthem!
