Trying to put a Pioneer Avic F90bt in a 2000 i30 all OEM HELP !!!

Soo....I just got a Pioneer f90bt for my birthday and I wanna install it without having to replace the stock bose system, since its still good. I heard you can use a pac roem nis2 adapter to switch to an aftermarket unit.....is that also true for navigation systems such as the f90bt....

I'm thinking about putting it in myself but dunno if it is just worth taking it to a shop and paying 150$+ for installation......is it easy to install one of these navigation units using the PAC adapter ? or is there wire-cutting involved? ive taken out the oem stereo myself already.

If anyone can advise me on how to install this thing i would be extremely grateful !!!
