Welcome to the forum. Most members use hid kits to match the oem headlights. If you're talking regular bulbs, then Hoen, I've heard is a good match.

I hope this helps.

OEM HID's are ~4300k 35w. So if you want to match them, you should go with that.

Let me clarify. I already have them but one is out so all I need is replacement bulbs and not a kit right?

Right. If you are OEM HID and someone didn't install them after the fact for you, you will need D2S bulbs. Otherwise, I believe it's H1 (check the FAQ thread in my SIG to confirm).

Regardless, 99% of OEM HID's like ours are about 4300k 35w. Get that and you'll be all set. Also, check out the Morimoto bulbs on TheRetrofitSource.com I would change both sides because as HID bulbs get old they 'wash out. So if you get just one new one (from ANYONE), it won't be 100% matched as your old bulb is probably a bit faded.

You'll love them. I run them on my car and they are definitely better than EBay junk but doesn't break your bank.

Be careful not to touch the bulb.

How long have you had your bulbs and have you had any issues? This is what the tech is saying.

Hey Erik,

Zach here at TRS. Thanks for the inquiry! The ballast your Infiniti uses to power those bulbs are a bit picky in regards to what kind of bulb they run, and as such there's only two recommendation i'll make. The Philips 85122 or the Osram 66240 bulbs are both perfectly compatible with your vehicle. There's essentially no difference between those two bulbs other than the manufacturer and a slight difference in price.

You can find the Philips bulbs here: http://www.theretrofitsource.com/produc ... cts_id=148
and the Osram bulbs here: http://www.theretrofitsource.com/produc ... s_id=19311

Thanks Erik! Let us know if you have any further questions.

My car is non-HID so I have Morimoto ballasts. I would take Zach's recommendation as they know their HIDs. I've had many sets and even had custom made headlights, but these guys are the real knowledgeable ones. I do believe that I know a decent amount about this subject, but go with what they said.

If I was you, between those two, I would go for the Philips 85122. As far as I am concerned, that is THE bulb that all others try to live up to. It's the Jordan of HID Bulbs.

Yeah I just saw in an older post that you mentioned your car was originally non-HID so I just ordered the phillips. I now have two sets of bulbs on the way! lol Thanks for the feedback.

No problem. Try to help as much as I can because I didn't know anything about cars when I was 16...and with the help of forums like this, I know a great deal now.
