First and foremost you will need a lift, because it is only accesable from underneath the car!! this part is very very hard to get to even after it is jacked up. once the car is in the air get under the motor, around the center somewhere and look up. there is this black knob, kinda hard to describe it, bolted to the backside of the motor about halfway up. work the screw loose detach the electric line and you are all set to reinstall. I replaced mine about a month ago and this is a COMPLETE PAIN IN THE ***!!!Have Fun, and hope this helps.

the U13 is pretty user friendly, but for a few nasty things like the plenum.suggest you do EVERYTHING under there: ks, several coolant hoses, including the heater hoses, both intake gaskets, even the starter (nissan reman'd only, please)--since you'll take it out anyway.THEN you get to do the plenum hand cleaning. don't forget the egr passages.once evry 10 yrs and 120k ought to do it, just part of premium maintenance.
