Car: Looking for an M30 Convertible

Post

I got a 92 M30 Vert.

Because of the design and the low placement of the stereo, it is cumbersome and dangerous to adjust the radio. Hence why i would like to keep the controls.

The stock deck works as a radio, but the cassette part is broken.

I'm trying to keep the dash controls and get an Aftermarket HU.

I know there's a link for this involving soldering the switches to the HU, but that is not the route i want to go down.(also whatever hosted pictures were on this page are no longer available)

I'm trying to accomplish this by using a PAC unit

but the M30 model isn't listed, or at least they haven't tested it.

due to the recent demise of the f31club forum I can't seem to find any more information about this.

Has anyone been able do accomplish this?
