alrite so i just finished my SR swap (S13 redtop into 92). I did all the wiring according to the HT website. My SR came with all the plugs cut coming from the starter, alternator, and transmission but i rigged ervything up and it all seems to be working fine. i know the injectors are working, im building fuel pressure, and the starter is cranking. for the past few days after i finished the wiring ive been turning the key but the motor just cranks and wont fire up.

this morning i charged up the battery and i cranked it over, after about 3 seconds of cranking it actually fired up and idled (painfully) for about 2 seconds and then it just kinda sputtered out. so i figure that means im getting fuel and spark. after trying it again im back to just cranking.. its not firing up anymore. the motor was running about 5 months ago (i bought it from a guy that had it running perfectly..)

i did a crank pulley swap, im not sure if that would affect my timing at all (since its keyed?) im wondering if it could be my timing, or possibly something else. i know that in situatuions like these i always forget to do stupid little stuff (plug in battery, fuel lines etc) but im pretty much stuck. any help would be awesome. thanks

well today I really got into working on it, I just wanted to get it done. I went through the list of things it couldve been.. fuel, spark, my ugly wiring job haha.. I had been reading alot of posts and I always saw somethin about crossing the fuel lines.. so I said oh hell why not check it out, I took the 2 clamps off and swapped the lines, hopped in not expecting much and boom, fired right up. right now i dont even have IC piping, vac lines or even the radiator hooked up so it idled at about 1900 through an open wastegate dump pipe.. I only let it run for about 15 seconds so it didnt heat up... but yeah tomorrow I'm going to finish my front mount and put the radiator back on, and hopefully I'll be booting around by tomorrow night..
