Trying to get Pandora to play on my radio

Hey guys, I know this should be easy BUT !!
When I plug my Iphone in using the USB port it switches from Pandora to ipod, and does not play the pandora radio station that I am listening to.
Should be putting the radio on a specific station or something like that ??

pandora wont play through the usb of the iphone or the usb of the car. you will have to use the 3.5mm jack

I assume the 2010+ models with the USB port work differently than my 08 with factory ipod connection, but I know that all I have to do is exit the ipod app on my phone and open pandora and it will play. If i have pandora already playing it switches to the ipod when I plug it in, but if I go back into pandora it'll switch. Might work on the newer models.

Thanks for the update, I will try that again.
If I remember right, when I switched to Pandora, the display on the phone would say no "Volume" .....

That's weird, my phone acts normally but my radio displays the last song played on my ipod.
