Hey guys,

Trying to find the tach wire in my '89 s13 hatch for an alarm install. According to wiring chart, it should be a yellow/red wire at ECM passengers kick panel. I'm assuming it should be a yellow/red wire going to the ECU, but when I popped off the passenger's kick, there were 2 yellow/red wires, one going to the ecu and one bundled into the harness right next to it:

So... I tapped the one going to the ecu, but upon testing with my multimeter, it doesn't appear to be the right one. Can anyone tell me which one is the tach wire? Or is there an easier place for me to tap in? Thanks!
