Sorry if this is not the right place to post this.

What are some of the websites insurance companies use to sell their wrecked/accident cars?

I know copart but they don't have what I'm looking for. Any other suggestions?

Thanks in-advance.

I kid.

What are you looking for, specifically sir? Are you finally caving into a manual swap?

Acutally a V6 6 Speed swap. I found one.. but it's in Canada. And I don't think VQs off RWD 350z/G35s will work with the ALtima since they're RWD but I could be wrong. I'm trying avoid the hassle and just find a 6sp V6 altima then just swap everything out. Labor is not an issue, finding one is the my issue right now.

Answering your question: Looking for a VQ35DE with a 6 speed transmission, now gimmeee :poke:

Gotcha. Yeah RWD configs won't work generally speaking. Lots of hassle there. Definitely wouldn't be worth the donor car effort as you wouldn't be able to use half of what you're looking for.

You could try putting a feeler out there for an 08-12 altima coupe 3.5 donor or an 07-09 Altima sedan 3.5 donor car in the following section: nissan-infiniti-wanted-wtb.html

Otherwise, as far as insurance company sales sites are concerned, I'll leave this thread here as it is a more general question and you'll need the gen chat traffic for that.

Yep. Unlike the VG, the VQ uses completely different castings for FWD and RWD blocks.

Glad that's been confirmed then. I'm going Monday to talk to a guy here in NJ that almost finished a V8 RWD Altima. But for some reason the project was never finished.

I could think of a number of reasons why a project like that would never be finished...

Apparently he got too busy with marriage and starting a family, etc. The dude had everything finished, just not put together. You should've seen his "for sale" Facebook album. GTR brakes, custom everything.. it was insane.

I think we are familiar with this car he posted a bunch of boner pics on NICO then vanished without the money shot.
