alright, i looked this up on here quite a few times and just cant seem to figure this out correctly. first off i got a 90 q, without the active suspension. what i ve been reading here and there is that it might be possible to use the z32 suspension on the g50. from what i ve read its not a ideal choice but it is do able. is all this true, or just ideas. has any one actually done this. as far as the swap itself. do you need the complete set up. or can u just use the struts and springs. i m really intrested in lowering my car and think the eibach springs are just to much. i m on the verge of cutting my springs and slapping on the tokico blues and calling it a day. i d rather use the z32 suspension for the fact that you can coil overs and adjust the hieght. whos running the best inexpensive set up. not trying to go cheap. but would prefer the style over the ride. i dont use it as much and would like to show it off.

Some modification is required, I forgot exactly but either the front is bolt-on or the rear, and the opposite end requires slight modifications.

Coil-overs would be much better. I have Eibachs and the front wheels rub during heavy high-speed cornering.

This car is just a heavy car to be cutting springs man... but thats been done too.

replacement Z32 shocks and springs wont work because the Z32 shocks are too short (like 4inches shorter if memory serves)... All of the multilink stuff works so long as its adjustable. Z32 coils can be made to fit, you have to bore out the bottom hole a little bit and modify the top mounts but its not really a huge issue.

My suggestion for you is to get some Q45 lowering springs (someone on the forum probably has a set they dont want) and then get some new tokico blues.
