Trying to figure out witch oil best for my aplication???

would work best for my r33 its got 86k kilometers rb25det i found the matching filter and just putted a syntetic oil on it (5w40) MOTUR brand recommended by a local shop where i got the oil from, i actually feel the car a bit slower at revs,or maybe the oil that it had was just too thin and old.please any suggestions, tips info. regarding it ,or anything else regarding the rb25det would appreciated.thanks.

I've used Mobil 1 15W50 in all my Nissan turbo engines for 10 years.
