alright, so in the near future when i'm ka-t i'm looking for 300whp give or take a few, because i can probably free up enough horses somewhere else to hit the 300whp mark.. I'm planning on injectors, fp, ecu tune for fuel/ign. management.

problem is, i'm using the Deatschwerks calculator to figure out what size injectors i need to run, the thing that's messing me up is the "brake specific fuel consumption" deal.. it says for a turbocharged engine to put either .5 or .6, but leaving all other numbers the same and changing the BSFC results in HUGE difference.. See

Target HP 300# of inj. 4BSFC .5duty cycle 80%

req. inj. flow rate. 490cc (at 83% duty, inj are at 468cc's)

Target HP 300# of inj. 4BSFC .6duty cycle 80%

req. inj. flow rate. 590cc

not trying to be lazy, i just don't really have the time to get on the comp as much as i used to

leave me something for tomorrow

550cc should get you to 300hp..

I run 810cc daily and get great mpg's. I got over 32mpg on a 800 mile trip.. it's all about the tune.. But you shouldn't go with less than 550cc for 300hp.

Get the biggest ones you can afford and your tuner can tune for.

You always want the ability to crank up the horsepower

Cool beans, thanx yall

Yeah I'm thinking 12psi max on this t3/t4 offbrand turbo I've got, I'm kinda leery about pushing more. It has no play, but still ha ha

Well thanks again guys, much appreciated

If its an off brand(Chinese usually) turbo run an oil restrictor. I ran one without one and it lasted 3 WoT runs.
