I'm going to be doing a Z32 brake swap in the near future, and I need a bit of help deciding what color scheme to go with. I was thinking of continuing with the super white color scheme of my car and offsetting the Nissan logo with black.

The other option is to do a red caliper which will easily stand out since my car has no red on it.

Both sound appealing to me

I don't have a pic of a white caliper, but here's a red one done the way i like:

I think the red is a nice contrast to the color of your rims. With the white rims, caliper's hidden by the wheel. I'd say go with the red

i have stock 240 alloys right now. i will be upgrading to the polished silver Konig holes in the near future. The more I think of it, the red will stick out more and complement the white of the body. Painting the calipers white will make it too white.

yeah, calipers need to be some obnoxious color that is totally different from any color of anything else on your car. I'm doing mine in bright neon green on my black car pretty soon...now THAT's obnoxious

think about cleaning before going white....do you really like gray calipers after 10 min. driving?

Anyways here are other options:

I opted not to paint mine. I figured the less people notice my car, the less likely the chances are that it'll get stolen or vandalized.

Also, why do extra unnecessary work? Function over form.

But I'll admit that painted calipers are pretty.

I personally like the black lettering on silver caliper. That way it gets noticed for being clean, not for it being bright red.

Mine are black with polished lettering. I was gonna go red but after a while they look like poo if you don't keep them clean.

:ylsuper on the black/polished letters. I used to have em and loved it. I think i like the "noticeable to fellow enthusiasts only" kind of look.

it's not out of my way to paint the calipers. Since they'll be off the car anyways, might as well make them look perdy.

I like the black and polished look. I might even go black and silver lettering.

I just finished practicing on a red top valve cover and used silver paint for the lettering. turned out pretty nice and it'll hold its color longer than polished.

does red really dirty up that fast?

I like the black/polished look. Low key but noticeable.
