If you'd ever get that turbo to spool.. then you would definitly need reinforced internals.

Sorry, this is just semantics, but a 1996 240sx would be an S14. 89-94 would be the S13 in US models...

And you would definately need reinforced internals. That would be an expensive project, but I'm sure you'd see some major results!

something in that line you will have to build yoru damn motor. If you want to stick with stock internals like me :) Go with turbonetics t3t4 with whatever stage wheel exhaust and trim. good luck!!!!!!Drew

welcome to nico, do some research my friend, i think most people agree that the T3/T4 is the best happy medium for spool up time/ top power. but since you asked, you would have to do just about every mod you could think of to get that running properly, but id like to see it done.

dude man isn't that turbo used in the Signal S15 that's pushing around 600hp? I think I remember that turbo when browsing through my magazine clippings and if I remember it looked like the size of the inlet was as big as the water pump pulley. That's effin huge man. All I can say is custom work up the wazoo. I think signal used a 45mm exhaust manifold and greddy connecting rods with a 2.2L stroker and ported everything. Dear god...I'd hate to be the competition if you're going to cram that sucker under your hood...

Hey thanks guys, looks like I'm going to rebuild the engine. But there is a t67 and t78 turbos I'll have to do some research on those. But I have 12000 grand to spend on this car so if you have any ideas what to get. It would be great to hear your opions. thanks

you have to basically look at your power goals with hp and 1/4 speed. I'm just looking to trap around 125 and 130 with my basic setup. Thats hauling ***, anyone that can get the 240 in that trap speed is better than good. But with 12000, you should easily accomplish what you are looking for, i hope. good luck.

If you have 12000 then get an rb25. I also knew a guy in dallas that ran a 10.6 with a t66 putting 565 at the wheels. And it seemed to spool quickly. I think trim really determines what youll spool at. But i may be wrong.
