Does anyone have one of these exhausts? Opinions?

http://www.trust-power.com/01exhaust/dd.html

Its 80mm main piping. The twin 90mm tips are a bit rice, but it seems well enough made. Thoughts?

Perhaps; I'm not sure. Its still on their website. Regardless, the one I'm considering is a few months used and I'm wondering if its worth the $400.

It's mostly just looks. If you want function, then just get an N1 or other straight through exhaust.

Yeah but they are all around 400 and all flow about the same. 400 bucks is not a bad deal.

I think I remember a guy named "nitekids" who had one. Try searching here or zilvia under his name and im sure a few posts will come up. I remember people that had seen his car in person saying it was the loudest exhaust they have heard. However, I don't believe he was turbo'd.

Jarco has one up on the bay at the moment, looks older and used so it may go for a good price. But if you see "andrave" as the high bidder don't bid against me. lol

I was looking at a one being offered on freshalloy but I saw the ebay one too. I'll try not to step on your toes; I still need to find a used long block anyway. =]

I prolly won't bid on the trust, I was joking around. It will go for more than 250 and I don't have it.

Which one is it? The exmag or the GTII?

It's one of RS*R's first 3" exhausts - looks fairly stock except for the 3" mandrel bends.

how much do you want for that? looks nice.also I forgot to mention, there is currently a group buy for the greddy DD, either here, on zilvia.net, or at dgtrials.comI think its 450 bucks since they are truly the last of their kind (the last 10 to be made from greddy, apparently).

I couldn't find this group buy at any of those sites. zilvia is listing a pair of other exhaust buys though, both pretty decent.

I'll sell it for $300 + shipping once the DD arrives. It is quite nice - notice the supports between the tips and below the tips(cannister to tips).

Very nice quality - the rust is strictly surface rust. If I hadn't had a jones for the DD since 1999, I would keep the RS*R. May anyway....but if someone wants it, email me.

Thanks,Chris

it was there. Little high but its a good exhaust. personally I'd call up summit and order some 3" pipe, some 2.25" pipe, a 3"/dual 2.25" out muffler, and two stainless tips and make my own. I like to make my own stuff. Its fun.

The DD is a very low profile exhaust...minus the sound. It's very loud on an NA. On a turbo car, it sounds like...you've got a flat and that the flat sound gets louder when you gas it more.

The DD with silencers on my car is very bearable. Quieter than the stock header with the stock exhaust piping with a weld- on muffler. With the turbo + DD, it's the best sounding 240sx, in both my opinion and the opinion of like 90% of the people who've heard it. Also, the N1 dual is no more of a straight through exhaust than the DD.
