I have a layer of Dynamat on my trunk lid and throughout the majority of the trunk, however on heavy bass my trunk still rattles more than I would like it to. How exactly do you go about moving the latch down to tighten the closure of the trunk lid? Thanks!AppleBonker wrote:Hmm. I don't get much rattle out of mine with two layers of sound deadener and an insanely powerful sub. Can you tell where the rattle is coming from? Did you check to make sure the trunk lid is securely fastened to the arms?
Is the rattle noticeable from inside the car, or only outside? Try putting some of your body weight on the outside of the trunk when the sub is running to see if you can deaden the rattle that way. You might need to tighten the trunk lid down by moving the latch further down (so the trunk closes tighter).
