I have a 2006 M35. My trunk won’t open when I hit the button on the trunk, remote won’t open it and I won’t open it from the interior trunk release. Fuse?

Possibly. You can check the FSM to see which fuse handles that switch - chances are it also handles other things. Is anything else not working at the mo?
Just by chance, if you know any child small enough to crawl through the rear seat door and pull the white release handle, that will work too - or maybe one of those grabber gizmos with a long handle?

I like the small human idea. Where I'm from, children had limited contributions to society... crawling into tight spaces was one of them. :rotflmao

I've also used a wire hanger and reached in the ski pass-thru to the trunk, but I've got very long arms.

Also, unless your trunk has been replaced you could try using the blade. Remove the insert from your key fob and look upwards around the license plate area. There should be a hole where you can just turn your key and POP! goes your soda can.

In my m45 it's on the right side of the trunk garnish. It's the chrome piece above the license plate, and it's a hole within the horizontal surface. So you have to go upwards with the key.
A couple of ways to open my trunk:
1. Trunk button on key fob
2. Intelligent key TouchPad on the trunk
3. Switch inside the car
4. Key blade in said hole
5. Emergency release from inside trunk (I have also reached at this handle thru the rear seat and a rod with a hook)

Thank you for the responses. I will check the FSM to see which fuse it is. So far that's the only thing that I've noticed that's not working. Once I see what else that fuse handles, I'll see if anything else doesn't work.

I'm an idiot because I didn't think the rear seat came down. I looked one time, and I didn't think it did. At least I know I can get into it through there and pull the release.

Thanks again!

You're welcome.
So the key blade won't open it from the outside?

Check to be sure that the function had not be disabled by switching off the Cancel Switch in the glove box. For further details in the FSM see BL-209-212, 216-219.

I do not believe the seat comes down, only the rear seat armrest does. Behind the armrest is the pass through door (AKA "ski door")

Great idea ! There IS a switch inside the glove box that prevents the remote and the little trunk button form activating the release. Check that first! I remember once not knowing why I was having trouble with the rear door locks. Visited the dealer and Geoffrey showed me the little child safe buttons on the door frames.
