Trunk (under the speakers cover?)

Hi,

I recently purchased a 2015 nissan altima sv. I just noticed that if you look inside the trunk, you can see the back end of the speakers and a couple of wirings. is it supposed to be open like that or there should be some sort of cover?

I just bought my 2015 Altima SL 3.5 and I just noticed the same thing. Seems strange to me too.

I have a 2016 Altima SR and mine is the same way. Many of the cars I have own have had the speakers exposed. Not sure what sort of cover or enclosure you would expect.

This is normal, the speakers in your rear deck are "free air" which uses a non-enclosed magnet.
