Trunk?

Ok i want some peoples opinions on this price. I am wanting to switch out my spoiler trunk (s13 se) for a non-spoiler trunk (clean look). To get to the point, i was wondering about how much it would cost for just a stright clean trunk from a wrecker? or maybe if it would be just as monatarily feasable to just take the spoiler off? im drunk, so if this sounds stupied please dont flame me.:help

well if ur painting the car like u said in ur other post just take off the spoiler and have the paintshop cover hte holes. what i did was shaved my car, take off spoiler, cover the holes w/bondo be4 i painted it.

I wouldnt recommend bondoing it. Get it welded and done right, but if you are doing it yourself don't warp the **** out of it by heating it too much. I found a clean spoiler free hatch w/ glass for 200.

i looked for months for a non spoiler coupe trunklid, and everyone who had one just stopped responding to my emails. damn *****es. ah well, settled on a spoiler one. if u find one, can be anywhere from 40-200 shipped. ppl are inconsistent with what they think these parts are worth. for me, a 50 new lid was a better bet than 300 to have the rust hole fixed. i might try to weld and bondo the holes and go no-spoiler, but prolly not. too much work. -Enzoi cant tell if this reply is useful or not. lo siento.
