I have a 2001 I30 and i want to install my own amp. The stock amp is dead and i want to put in my own subs too. The wires that plug into the amp are still hanging on the trunk. Is there an adapter that can convert those wires into rca jacks. Are there any diagrams that show which wires plug into the amp. I know alot about wiring and stuff but i just want to know if there is an easier way to install a custom amp. And im a very cheap person.

If your gonna install a new amp I'd advise getting a new sub too...so that you get the sub and amp to match each other and you get a better sound and you don't waste your money (and power)!!!

Just use a line level converter(hi/low converter). It connects to the speaker outs whcih then gives you rca outputs for your amp.
