first and formost, ive used the search function on this topic before and my recent searches did not bring up any thing new or old that i missed.

that being said, im a little crazy about the line gaps in my cars. i was adjusting my new trunk lid and moved the hinge down too far obveously.

ive tried everything i can think of to open it with the help of another person. no luck

the key doesnot work because the lid is not from my car and i wasnt going to swap it till it got painted. the key was stolen when my truck was broken in to.

so...any suggestions other than drill out the lock? i really dont think it will help this situation anyway.

thanks in advance!

on what?...absolutly correct.

on a highly sofisticsated 91 Q45 where the key is very unlikly to be "filled down" un like cheaper cars such as rice buring Talons.

if it were that easy id do it and not wast your precious time. as the dumb a$$ G.W. bush would suggest!

any other compitent suggestions from the more intelligent part of NICO.

thanks

So remote release doesn't work? And you installed a trunk for which you had no key? Get the VIN and get a key from Joe if you know from where the trunk came.

Yes, if you don't have a key or have the number recorded. Joe can get it.
