So, I recently bought a 2003 350Z and the trunk struts will not support the trunk itself.
I have read many posts from people who have experienced the same thing but the have only solved it by replacing both struts. I would like to try and repair the struts with new rubber seals but cannot seem to find out where to buy them.
Can anyone point me in the right direction?

I can usually find them cheap so I've never bothered to look to see if they are even serviceable. I wouldn't think so though. I think they are pressurized to act like a spring.

I don't really know that you'd want to go through the trouble of finding and repairing...just buy the Z1 motorsports struts. descent price and the work great

I recommend that anyone living a climate that gets even moderately cool/cold at all replace their hatch struts with some heavy duty ones when the time comes. I can't count the number of times I've almost been hit in the head from the struts not doing their job because of the cold temps. I've actually been hit twice, once narrowly avoiding the latch mechanism.
