trunk springs?

So my trunk will not stay. 96 240sxIt looks like there should be springs on it... but there isnt. Should there be?Where can i find the springs?Any other solutions? like Silenoids?

umm...we use gas struts to hold our trunks open. they're going bad and not able to stay extended.

There should be some tension 'rods' under the rear speaker deck the hold the trunk up. Maybe something got disconnected or broke.
