First off I want to thank everyone in advance for their guidance regarding this issue.

What I have...2008 Nissan Sentra Se-R Spec V (The seats don't fold down)Pioneer F900BT (In-Dash)Rockford P1000-1BD (Mono)2 Alpine Type R 12'sRockford P400-4 (4 Channel)Simple 1 Farad Capacitor (Useless for this stuff btw)

The trunk rattles like no other, it sounds fine on the inside unless I turn it up to the point where my Alternator can't handle it.

On the outside however, even at a moderate level. There is a tremendous amount of trunk rattle, this wouldn't bug me but I'm trying to be courteous to those around me. We took a look and from where the sound is coming from Dynamat isn't going to do anything. Quite a bit of vibration is coming from the latch itself. I was looking into using a slow expanding foam (properly applied) but not sure how effective it might be. If I get out of the car and lean hard on the trunk itself (downward) I can get quite a bit of vibration to go away.

Any suggestions would be great!

Without actually seeing where the rattle is it's hard to say. I'd probably start by trying to move the latch a little to tighten up the trunk.

yep i agree you need to use dynamat or something like to absorb some of the pressure the sub put out. i would definite dynamat the license plate because they rattle like anything.
