trunk questions?

i opened up the wall in the back on the trunk of my j, and i have no idea what this tank thing is, some people say its a reserve cell but i dont want to open the thing up to gasoline all over me or something and i most definitely don't want to find out, but it would be real good if someone can tell me what that is, and if i can take it out

ps. this j is off cardomain and isn't mine and it shows what i'm talkin about

Dude, thats your gas tank. See that black tube on the right side going into the tank? That is the fill tube from the gas cap on the car. No you cannot remove it.

Probally not a good idea to have an amp next to the tank. Those things can make some heat. What if it shorts or grounds? Guess what? No more Infiniti or worse you.

Seriously there is nothing to worry about. What if it shorts? It will probably just burn up the amp. Besides thats why people have fuses on wires. In case of a short
