Trunk Net 2005 Q45

Apparently, Infiniti has stopped supplying the trunk net for the 2005 Q45.

I am wondering if one of the Nissan or Infiniti models use the same trunk net under a different part number.

If someone has a cross referenced number for this item, it would be greatly appreciated.

2005 Q45 Tip:

With the trunk lid open you'll notice black plastic covers in the water channels on both sides of the trunk opening. Pop these off and clean out the accumulated debris that does get trapped. They pop off easily and since wiring runs through these channels, leaves, etc blocks them up.

Here's what I have learned:

1. The "Net, Trunk" "Part Number 84935-AR000" has been permanently discontinued and is no longer available from Infiniti.

2. I have been told that Infiniti Part Number 84935-EH100 is a functioning replacement by my local Infiniti dealer.

3. Cost is around $125 so I found a bran new on EBay for $32.

4. The EH100 fits M35/M45/QX56 vehicles from model ranges of 2004 - 2010.

5. Cannot confirm for the 2011 line.

I installed the Trunk Net 84935 EH100 today.

It is NOT an exact fit for the 2005 Q45. It's about 3 inches to wide at the top so it is NOT taunt when connected.

I'm working on a way to snug it up without making it look like it.

I found that my '97 trunk net was too wide for the '05. I basically put the '97 net in my parents' Toyota Venza and used theirs on my '05. Fits like a glove.
