Hey guys so I have a 300zx convertible. The previous owner told me that some theft tried to open the trunk by prying the lock open with what seems to be a screwdriver. So my question is how can I get my trunk lock replace and still use my original key? Can the dealer do this?

You can get to the mechanism by taking off the center piece of interior trim, then removing the rear center panel. Pretty sure that a locksmith can get you a cylinder that will work with your key. Not sure that you'd need a dealer.

I'm pretty sure if you can get a used, good condition lock cylinder off of another Z owner, a good locksmith should be able to rework the tumblers to work with your current key. Repeat, a GOOD locksmith. Not AAA lol

My sister-in-law had a 01 Altima that she lost the key to (of COURSE she only had one  ). A local locksmith in NJ was able to use the lock cylinder from one of the doors to fab up a new key and even program it (chip key) for about $160.
