trunk LED strip install

i plan on buying 2-4 LED strips, each being 30 cm long and housing 15 SMD LEDs
i already have everything thought out, as well as a connector that will fit in the current socket. i will just need to solder all the positives together and the negatives together.
the main issue i am having right now is trying to find a place to mount them.

the trunk liner covers most of the roof of the trunk.
does anyone have any suggestions as to where i can mount the strips for optimal light?
preferably id rather not cut into the trunk liner, but if it comes to that i will.

I did mine like this, and it pretty much lights up the whole trunk.
