Does anyone know how to tighten the latch on the trunk?
I recently put subs in and have fixed most of the rattle by putting sound dampening material under the felt and foam inside the holes in the trunk, but it still is noticable from the outside and kind of annoying.
Any help is appreciated.

Foam behind the license plates as well? Thats where a lot of my noise comes from. Other than that, it is what it is. The AC has TONS of shakes and rattles you will hear over time as the subs punish it, inside and out.

Yeah, I have SDM coating on the license plate and the bottom drilled in - no rattle comes from it.
Kinda wishing I got a G8 now..

If it really bothers you that much you could try folding one of the 60/40 split seats. That should kill some of the rattle, but its also going to kill some of the real low end bass and also a seat or two in the back.

I had the same problem, but I guess mine broke or something. Luckily Nissan replaced it for me under the warranty :chuckle:

Now the front passenger seat and the area around the cup holders are making a lot of noise :tisk:
