Trunk/Hatch will not open

My wife placed a small lawn chair in the trunk of the 350Z, and it must have been a tight fit, as the trunk will not open with the key fob, or the button above the licence plate. I can't use the quick release under the rear strut bar as it has a subwoofer box blocking the lever. What can I do to release the trunk ? :cry:

remove the speaker box, the back exterior button never works
