Trunk Handle

My trunk handle broke on my 2008 AC .... anybody know where to get a replacement besides the stealership?

are you talking about the glow in the dark emergency handle inside the trunk? If so, shouldn't be more than a few bucks from the dealer.

Or the entire back finisher piece??

The back part where you press the button to open the trunk from the outside...its like a strip

The actual part broke? or just the screws that hold it?

It's either the dealership or a junkyard

There are two screws that hold the piece on from inside the think lid. You can see them with the trunk lid carpet liner off.

just go look at home depot man, take some initiative.....lets problem solve now gentlemen, come on now get a hand in, helmets not a chair, take a knee lets go now!

They're like yellow plastic screws. Shouldn't be more than a couple of bucks at the dealership

Okay, so I went to confirm this today.. The dealership doesn't sell those screws by them selves. They sell the whole piece for the trunk and the screws attached to it. You give them the VIN no. and they get you the part color matched. It's $108 for everything and if you have an auto shop discount it's $85.

I'm still gonna try and find them online

Yeah, that's what I said. You could use 3M super double sided tape. Holds up pretty well and that's what I'm using now.
