Hello Everyone! Ok, so this is probably a stupid question, but I haven't figured it out yet. The little storage flap inside the trunk came off the other day, and I haven't been able to put it back on right. I looked at the manual, but I think i'm putting it back on wrong. Where do you fasten the strings so it fits the right way?

Thanks. I'm sorry I'm an idiot

First of all, welcome to the forum!

Do you have a hatch or a sedan? I'm not quite sure what you're talking about when you say "storage flap", but if you have a hatch then I assume you're talking about the cover for the cargo area that sits level with the top of the rear seats. Basically, you want to make sure the soft cloth part (with the velcro on it) is closer to the seats, then press the two little channels on either side down into the cone shaped protrusions or extensions on the sides of the cargo area - these are on the far left and right sides on the white plastic. Once it's snapped down into place (press it good to make sure it's actually locked down), then you want to hook the two strings up onto the small extended hook-like knobs on the tailgate itself - they're located on the white plastic just to either side of the rear window. You just simply slip the hole in the end of the string up over the knob. You may have to slightly lift up on the cargo cover to do this. Finally, hook the velcro on the soft cloth "flaps" closer to the front of the car onto the seats - there should be velcro on the top of the seat-backs for this.

Hope that helps!

Thank You JFanaselle!

I had no idea about hooking the velcro to the seats. I think that was my problem.

Thanks again!

You will also notice on the rear tray where it connects or snaps in you will see a small black pad,This pad is a anti rattle pad, i would think, that is what i found out when i hear that rear tray rattle sometimes going down the bumpy roads,The pads do fall off,I lost one of mine,So i picked up a package of rubber flat stickys from the dollar store, and are even better than what nissan stuck in there,Cure ...No more RATTLES when you hit a bump.
