trunk center tail light delete on S14

I've been thinking about ditching the center lights on my Kouki S14 recently.
I thought i saw this some where a while back and i've been debating trying something like it.

they removed the center panel and made a custom panel and molded it to the trunk so that the center section was a painted continuation of the trunk. it made the rear look much more like an S15. i am debating something like this(more of a poor mans version with an old zenki center section and maybe some bondo)

anybody got any shots of something like this? i've searched for a while and found an ooooooold post on here about something of the sorts, but the photos were gone.
