recently my 04' g35 has been giving me problem lately. My trunk wont open when i hit the trunk botton in the car nor on the remote. yes, the trunk switch is turned on from the glove compartment. every now and then after so many hours, it'll work, and then you have to wait so many hours again to get it to open..i called infinity and i was told that its due to faulty wiring in the trunk or the sensor that trigger it to open. (suck) price - $120-140/hours...and itll be around 2 hours...ARRRRR! anybody has a better solution or ideas to fix it yourself? i rather do it my self and save..i hate opening the back seat to access the trunk when i needed..helps anyone..

I've also had the problem from time to time on my '05 Sedan. I've found that turning the ignition on then off resolves the problem.

+1

It happened once to me on my 06. Turned ignition on & off and trouble cleared.A few times the bluetooth failed to sync with my Blackberry. Same fix.Turn ignition on and off.If you can't remember when you replaced the battery in the remote this might be a good time to do so.
