Trunk Access?

Can anyone tell me how to access the trunk area from the inside of my '93 Q45? I think there is a way to open it up, to make a flat bed, instead of having just the back seat. I pulled down the center arm rest... found a button on the back of the seat, but now what?

Sorry, the car does not have a pass through trunk.

The gas tank actually sits inside the trunk over top of the rear axle.

I am not planning on sleeping in my car... I need the storage space!! What is the button on top of the back seat for? I pressed it and it released something!!

whatever it is not going to give you a pass through. Nissan touted the gas tank in that position as a safety feature, which it is. However it also killed the back seat room to mid-size and made the trunk small by any defintion. If I could change one thing about the Q it is that.

That button opens up the little storage compartment that's in built into the rear deck. I use it to store my emergency med kit, doesn't hold much more.
