That rocks. Nice find.
Now what follows is not aimed at any one member, so please, everyone understand that we are all at fault for crappy writing from time to time.
You know, people tend to get frustrated when others call them out on their grammar, suggesting instead that it doesn't matter. ("we rnt n skool, mk?" or "it dsent mater u no wat i sad") What people don't understand is that it DOES matter. For one, while it may not be true that people who write well are more intelligent, a mastery of the language ALWAYS conveys intelligence, and in online discussion, intellegence conveys respect. Also, in a well-written block of text, at least in informative discourse, there should be no abiguity about who said what to whom and when. Take it from your friendly neighborhood NICO Engish teacher... grammar matters! Give your posts some authority by taking the time to make sure it is well written and people will know you care about what you are saying, and ultimately respect you for it.
I know it doesn't seem that important, but BELIEVE ME, online especially, where the only thing your audience has to go on is your written word, having some mastery of the written language will help you immensely. It's the same thing as being able to speak Ebonics in some parts of Oakland, CA. Understanding it is only half the battle; you need to be able to spit it back out if you want to engage in a meaningful dialogue.
Anyways, congratulations on your car(s)... you lucky bastard! PICS! PICS! PICS!
